Unclaimed Deposit Accounts of the Bank बैंक के लावारिस जमा खाते

In accordance with RBI guidelines, the Bank publishes the details of unclaimed deposit accounts. Customers or their legal heirs may follow the process below to claim or reactivate such accounts. आरबीआई दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार, बैंक लावारिस जमा खातों का विवरण प्रकाशित करता है। ग्राहक या उनके कानूनी उत्तराधिकारी ऐसे खातों को दावा करने या पुनः सक्रिय करने के लिए नीचे दी गई प्रक्रिया का पालन कर सकते हैं।

ℹ️ Please Note: As per RBI directives, deposits which have not been operated for ten years or more are classified as unclaimed deposits and are required to be transferred to the Depositor Education and Awareness Fund (DEAF) maintained by RBI. कृपया ध्यान दें: आरबीआई के निर्देशों के अनुसार, जो जमा दस वर्ष या उससे अधिक समय से संचालित नहीं हुई हैं, उन्हें लावारिस जमा के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया जाता है और आरबीआई द्वारा संचालित जमाकर्ता शिक्षा और जागरूकता कोष (DEAF) में हस्तांतरित किया जाता है।

📋 Process for Claiming the Unclaimed Deposit Account लावारिस जमा का दावा करने / सक्रिय करने की प्रक्रिया

  1. The customer has to make a written request to the respective branch where the account was maintained. ग्राहक को उस संबंधित शाखा में लिखित अनुरोध करना होगा जहाँ खाता बनाए रखा गया था।
  2. The customer shall be required to justify the reason(s) for the account having remained dormant to the satisfaction of the Bank. ग्राहक को बैंक की संतुष्टि के लिए खाते के निष्क्रिय रहने के कारण(ों) को उचित ठहराना होगा।
  3. Customer's request shall be accepted after verification of signature and identity and compliance of due diligence / KYC requirement. ग्राहक का अनुरोध हस्ताक्षर और पहचान के सत्यापन तथा उचित सावधानी / KYC आवश्यकता के अनुपालन के बाद स्वीकार किया जाएगा।
  4. In case of demise of the original customer, their legal heirs can approach the respective branch for settlement of deceased claims and such claim shall be dealt with under extant rules and procedures of the Bank for settlement of deceased claim. मूल ग्राहक के निधन की स्थिति में, उनके कानूनी उत्तराधिकारी मृत दावों के निपटान के लिए संबंधित शाखा से संपर्क कर सकते हैं और ऐसे दावे को मृत दावे के निपटान के लिए बैंक के मौजूदा नियमों और प्रक्रियाओं के तहत निपटाया जाएगा।
